dispite the steady 30 degree weather, my first craft fair was a big success!

a special thanks to my buds amy and hadley for braving the cold and helping with my booth..

..and thanks to my friends and family for coming out and supporting handmade. you guys are great.

this is my first time to have my own booth and i'm so very stoked!

inspired by my most recent viewing of 'edward scissorhands' these little guys want to hold your belongings.

handwritten fonts.

the site fontcapture is so great. you can make fonts out of your handwriting and the handwriting of others. its really easy, all you need is a printer and a scanner.

i used to love my grandmothers penmanship. i remember being little and thinking it was so unique and lovely. i wish i could've preserved it.

here is a bit of my own handwriting.

you could preserve your parents handwriting. or your children, since it will inevitably change. you could create your own weird language.

the possibilities are endless.

fall plaid fall.

fall is my favorite. and so is plaid.

i like to associate the two.

now that the change of seasons is upon us, i've been seeking out fabulous plaid goodies.

i bought this great dress yesterday at old navy for only $25. it was a steal.

i love this tutorial on making plaid pillows with thrifted male shirts. via kelly+olive.
