hands down, my favorite october tradition is carvin' up some punkins.

last year was mustache themed, this year buttons! keepin' it crafty.

i even added some yarn to make the design come across.

my trip to the renegade craft fair in chicago was fantastic. even better than i imagined.

talented crafters as far as the eye could see...

and this was not your grandmas craft fair.

mustaches adorned everything...penis and vagina shaped pin cushions were on display...PBR was a sponsor, so of course everyone had a tall-boy in hand.

anyone who knows me is well aware that i heart halloween.

i plan my costume weeks, sometimes months in advance.

that second sale.

i made my second sale on etsy tonight!

these 'stache brothers are on their way to brooklyn to adorn a cute little apartment.

it's so exciting to see how my handmade goodies are being received. 

i see the start of something beautiful.

i just posted my scarves and scarfettes into my etsy shop.

now i have all of my current inventory posted. 

i'm quite proud.

i still haven't made that first sale, but i also haven't really started to promote. 

although...my stache brother plaques made it onto etsy's "geek chic" gift guide! you can check it out here.

i was pretty stoked when i went to the homepage of etsy and there was a picture of my plaques at the top under the gift guides link. pretty cool if i do say so myself. 

in other news, my new sewing machine just arrived at my parents house.

my mom wants to wrap it up and keep it until my birthday, but i don't think i can wait 9 more days to use it. i want it now.
